The Activities page is your central hub for reviewing all the information you've recorded in your account—lessons, trackers, observations, and more. Think of it as your system’s playback feature: while the Quick Add button is how you input information, the Activities page is how you view, manage, and filter that information afterward.
Accessing the Activities Page
At the top of every page in your account, while a classroom role is selected, you’ll find two important buttons:
-
Quick Add – used to record lessons, trackers, and observations
-
Activities – used to review what has been recorded
Click Activities to view a chronological list of recorded entries, with the most recent at the top.
What You’ll See
Each entry in the Activities feed includes:
-
Title and type (lesson, tracker, observation, etc.)
-
Timestamp showing when the entry was created
-
Staff member who recorded it
-
Sharing status, indicated by:
-
A yellow background and eye icon if the item is shareable with families
-
No shading if the entry is private
-
Managing Entries
To the right of each entry, you’ll see:
-
A trash can icon to delete the entry
-
A gear icon to edit the entry
Clicking Edit will bring up the original entry, allowing you to make and save changes. You will not be able to change the student or lesson/tracker name, but you can change any of the other details regarding that entry.
Filtering the Activity Feed
The Activities page includes robust filters to help you narrow down the view to what matters most. You can filter by one or more of the following criteria:
-
Type of entry (lessons, trackers, or observations)
-
Child’s name
- Grade/Cycle Year
- Entries with notes or without
- Visibility: private or shared
-
Date range (choose from preset ranges like "Last 30 Days" or select custom start and end dates)
This is useful for reviewing specific types of entries or tracking individual student progress over time.
To adjust or remove filters:
-
Click individual filters to deselect them
-
Or use the Remove All Filters option to reset the view
Exporting to CSV
Use the Export CSV button in the top-right corner to download the currently displayed entries in spreadsheet form. This export respects any filters and date ranges you’ve set. For example:
-
If you’ve filtered to show only Cassidy’s recorded lessons, your CSV will only include those entries.
-
If no filters are applied, the CSV will include all visible entries within the selected date range.
The Activities page gives you a clear, organized, and flexible way to monitor everything happening in your classroom. Use it to stay on top of documentation, prepare for parent communication, or simply review your team’s daily inputs.
