Keeping track of student activity, lesson planning, and observations is simple with the Quick Add and Activities features in your classroom view. These tools help you streamline your daily record keeping and make sure everything is organized in one convenient place.
When you select a classroom role (found in the upper-right corner of your screen), you'll see three buttons appear in the purple bar at the top of the page:

Students: A shortcut to a student's profile

Quick Add (yellow button): Your go-to tool for entering most of your classroom data.

Activities: A log where you can view everything you've previously entered.
Getting Started with Quick Add
Click the Quick Add button, and a window will appear over your current screen. Across the top, you’ll see five tabs—each one designed for a specific type of entry:

Plan a Lesson

Record a Lesson

Record a Tracker

Record an Observation

Record an Incident (coming soon)
Each tab provides tailored fields to help you easily enter the information you need.
Plan a Lesson

Click Quick Add, and the Plan Lesson tab will be selected automatically.

Choose a date to plan a Scheduled lesson or leave it blank to create an Unscheduled lesson.

Select one or more students.

Search for and select the lesson you'd like to plan.

(Optional) Add a private planning note.

Click Save—your lesson will now appear on the Planned Lessons page.
Scheduled lessons are organized by date; Unscheduled lessons are grouped by category only.
Record a Lesson

Open Quick Add and go to the Record Lesson tab.

Choose whether or not to share with parents.

(Optional) Upload one or more photos.

Select the date, student(s), and Lesson name.

Check or uncheck lesson Elements to show specific learning objectives.

Select an assessment level using the triangle icon.

(Optional) Add a private or shared note.

Click Save—you’ll find this entry in your Activities log, and you can return to edit it anytime.
Record a Tracker

Open Quick Add and go to the Record Tracker tab.

Choose whether or not to share with parents.

(Optional) Upload one or more photos.

Select the date, student(s), and Tracker name.

(Optional) Add a private or shared comment.
Note: If a Tracker appears grayed out, it may be marked as "not shared" in your main Tracker list. To record it, toggle off the "Shared with parents" visibility option at the top of the Quick Add window.

Click Save—the entry will appear in the Activities log for easy access and editing.
Record an Observation

Open Quick Add and go to the Record Observation tab.

Choose whether or not to share with parents.

(Optional) Upload one or more photos.

Select the date and student(s).

Enter a private or shared comment based on the visibility setting.

Click Save to store the observation in the Activities log.
Record an Incident (Coming Soon)
This feature is currently under development. Once released, it will allow you to create and share formal incident reports with parents directly from the system.
