Montessori Compass is designed for school staff—including teachers, administrators, and classroom guides—to manage record keeping, lesson planning, and student activity.
For parents, guardians, and families, we offer a dedicated mobile app called Classroom Share, developed and supported by the Montessori Compass team. This free app is available on iOS and Android and makes it easy for families to stay connected with their child’s school—via their mobile device
📱 What Is Classroom Share?
Classroom Share is the official mobile companion app for families, created by the Montessori Compass team. It’s how parents and guardians receive school updates, classroom messages, photos, and more—securely and conveniently.
Schools control what information is shared, so families only see what your team decides to make available.
👀 What Parents Can See in Classroom Share
Each school chooses what to share with families through the app. Available content includes:
- Messages – Direct messages from teachers or administrators
- Calendar – Events, closures, and important reminders
- Photos – Private or group snapshots of classroom moments
- Activity Reports – Daily or weekly summaries of classroom activity—which can be automated
- Bulletin Boards – School-wide or classroom announcements
- Videos (Coming July 2025) – Private or group videos of classroom moments
The app includes a newsfeed and push notifications, so families can stay informed without needing to log in frequently.

Classroom Share is built with families in mind. It supports:
- Multiple children at the same school
- Children enrolled at different schools or programs using Classroom Share
- One parent or guardian account to manage updates across all children
🔐 Is My Information Secure?
Yes. Classroom Share is developed and operated by the Montessori Compass team and built with privacy and security in mind. All data is encrypted and securely stored.
Only authorized school staff can post updates, and families can only see what the school chooses to share. Information is always under the school’s control.
Schools have flexible sharing options and can choose to share:
- With the entire school
- With a specific classroom
- With a custom group of families
- Or only with the family of a single child
Additionally, classroom record keeping activity can remain private or be shared, depending on your school’s preferences. When using our Quick Add feature, teachers can decide on a per-record basis whether to make an activity visible to the family.
This approach ensures that communication is thoughtful, secure, and aligned with each school’s philosophy and workflow.
📥 How Families Get Started
Parents will receive an email invitation from your school with instructions to download the Classroom Share app and connect their account.
Once connected, they’ll start receiving updates automatically—no need to log in each time they open the app.

🛠️ Having Trouble Logging In?
- Make sure you're using the same email address the school has on file.
- If you didn’t receive an invitation, check your spam or junk folder.
- Still need help? Contact your school office directly.
- Already connected? Open the Classroom Share app and tap “Forgot Password” to reset your credentials.

Please note: families will not log in through a website. All parent communication will happen through the convenient mobile app, which is available for free on both iOS and Android.
If you have multiple children at our school, all updates for your family will be shared through Classroom Share. If you have children enrolled at different schools that also use this platform, you’ll be able to access everything from a single account—right in the app.
