Montessori Compass is a web-based application — there's nothing to download or install. It works on any device with an internet connection and a modern web browser, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Tablets in the Classroom
Many teachers find it especially convenient to use an iPad or other tablet during the school day. Tablets offer full access to Montessori Compass via the browser:
- Safari or Chrome are recommended on iPad
- Chrome is recommended on Android tablets
A key advantage of using a tablet is the ability to take and upload photos in real time. With the Quick Add feature, teachers can document lessons, observations, and tracker updates — attaching photos directly from the classroom environment as they happen.
