Does Montessori Compass Support Multiple Languages?

Modified on Wed, Apr 8 at 4:09 PM

Montessori Compass is designed to work with your school's language naturally. Here's how language support works across the platform.

What Already Works in Any Language

The majority of content in Montessori Compass is user-generated — meaning it reflects whatever language your staff enters. This includes:

  • Observations and lesson records — written by your teachers, in any language
  • Student progress notes and reports — composed by your staff
  • Parent and family communications — written in the language your school uses
  • Custom curriculum — schools can import curriculum content in any language, making the Scope & Sequence fully adaptable to your school's language
  • Custom trackers and forms — labels and fields are set by your school

In practice, this means the core day-to-day functions of Montessori Compass — record keeping, lesson planning, parent communication, and curriculum management — work effectively in any language your school chooses to use.

What Is Currently English-Only

The platform interface — menus, navigation, system labels, and buttons — is currently in English. This is the area we are working to expand.

What's Coming

Full multi-language interface support is on our roadmap. We are working toward expanding the platform UI to support additional languages — prioritized based on the needs of the schools we serve.

If your school operates in a language other than English and has specific needs, we'd love to hear from you. Your feedback directly shapes our priorities.
