Modified on Tue, Apr 7 at 6:19 PM

Montessori Compass 2.0 makes it easy to automatically share student activity reports with families on a regular basis. You can choose to send reports daily or weekly, based on your classroom's needs. Follow the steps below to configure report automation.

Step 1: Switch to the Account Admin Role

To access automation settings, make sure you are logged in as an Administrator on your account with the Account Admin role selected in the upper right corner. This role gives you access to the Automation option in the left-hand navigation panel.

Step 2: Access the Automation Settings

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Automation.
  2. You will see a list of all classrooms in your school, along with their current automation status (e.g., daily, weekly, or not scheduled).

Step 3: Set Up or Edit Automation

To set up or edit the schedule for a specific classroom:

  1. Locate the classroom and click the three dots Screenshot 2025-05-18 at 11.32.33 PM.pngon the right-hand side.
  2. Select Edit Schedule.
  3. Toggle the Enable Automation switch to turn it on.

Step 4: Choose Frequency and Timing

Once automation is enabled, you can configure the report delivery schedule:

  • Frequency: Choose either Daily or Weekly.
  • Day of the Week (for weekly reports): Select the day you'd like reports to be sent (e.g., Friday or Monday).
  • Time: Choose the time of day when reports will be sent.
  • Start Date: Confirm or adjust the start date for automated reports.

Step 5: Save Your Settings

Click Update to save your changes. Reports will begin sending automatically according to the schedule you've selected.
